Compounded by minature text.  Why is it that every HTML mail I receive
uses fleaspeck tiny text?

The remote DHCP server would be configured to update all of the master
DNS servers that you wanted updating, directly (slave servers being
automatically updated by their masters).  And you'd configure the DNS
servers to allow that.  It's not something to be configured on whatever
acts as a relay.
