grep Driver /etc/X11/xorg.conf

On my system, that will return a driver for the keyboard ('Driver
"kbd"'), the mouse ('Driver "mouse"') and the graphics card. It might be
something like "vesa", "nv", "ati", "radeon", "i810", or "intel".

Hope this helps,

James.
