  I have tried that with Yumex and plain YUM by terminal and she just
won't turn over. I get the message "can not start ksmserver. check
your installation.

It is checking and pulling in all sorts of packages for me that relate to the KDE environment. Maybe try yum groupinstall to see what FC5 calls it. This group might be different for FC6 to be.

ksmserver is something related to kde. I believe that yum install ksmserver might pull in the package you want. I have not tried out that command though before. I read discussions related to people typing in libraries as arguments to yum install, so maybe!
