try: - reboot - at grub boot menu hit the space key - select the kernel line - hit key "a" (for append) - backspace all including the r from rhgb - key in selinux=0 audit=0 3 - enter or "b" key - login as root swapon -sv ? no swap space => swapon -a swapon -sv ? no swap space => - swapoff -a - mkswap /dev/hda6 -L "SWAP-hda6" ( label included in " " ) - swapon -a swapon -sv ? no swap space => stay with dave jones advice ! -- ronald
