It should.  The warning is about not making a mess out of the 127.0.0.1
line, not that it has to be the first line.  The warning makes a
presumption that it is the first line, and that it hasn't already been
modified by the time someone actually looks at the hosts file.  All in
all, it's very poorly worded.
