To the best of my knowledge it should be the same between FC versions. Have you tried it both via
command line and via /etc/sysconfig/iptables?

When I run /etc/sysconfig/iptables I get  a "Pernmission Denied" message...

The same message I was getting in my services output window...

What do I need to change?
