Tried but never made it . The way i have been using to play mp3s is to download and compile xmms . This way i bypass the Fedora Project problems related to mp3 ( actually there is only one problem , namely the algorithm of mp3 is patented , which means that someone has to pay the rights for the algorithm , and that's why mp3 support isn't included in any Fedora Core distro that i know ). So if everything else fails just go to www.xmms.org and download the thing .
