FluxBox Troubles

 Hello 
 I am a huge fluxbox fan and have used it all over the place, I have used it 
on all my versions of Fedora but recently am problems with it. For instance 
starting kmail freezes it up. When setting the clock format the background is 
transparent and I can't see what I am doing. I have never had these problems 
with Flux before and am not sure how to proceed. The version I am using is 
0.9.15.1-1.fc5. Is anyone else experiencing this. I use kde apps is this my 
problem ? I had gnome installed and and when using gtk apps I didin't have as 
many problems, thanks.
