If you truly want to help then review what you are about to send and if it could be taken wrong don't send it. You can help how people take what you write. Take some advise and read some books that teach you how to be more polite and tactful. You can catch more flies with honey than you can vinegar. People don't care what you know until they know that you care. Another way of saying it is filters can dump anything you send in the trash and it won't get read at all.
What you say is true. But you could have also just ignored and took the advice...takes two to tango....i think
