Thanx for the pointers! I got it to work using /dev/sdb, but it really
hates vfat or msdos formats, for some reason. I finally got it
formatting ext2 and will try ext3 as was mentioned above. Beats me what
this thing doesn't like the M$ formats, but you know what?? It's
perfectly OK with me. <cackles hugely> Ric
