Trying to find out why no other ports are working, the output of netstat -an follows.
From this I can not determine why using other ports 8888 or 8880 for
httpd prevents it from starting. I'm all set I've found the solution to my problem. joe, iptables -L returns, Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination tcpdump -X -i eth0 returns too much output because I am connecting with ssh at the same time.
