Keyboard indicator applet not working

Hi!

I'm usging FC5 (last updated August 9. 2006) and Gnome.
I'm trying to switch between keyboard layouts (UK and Slovenian),
but the applet does not want to switch between them when I click it.
Even if I right-click the applet and select the Slovenian layout under 
"Groups".
I have both layouts set  up.

Any ideas ?
