Only if you want to dole out dynamic addresses and have them in your
local DNS records.

But if you're going to keep on doling out the same IP, you can leave a
fixed DNS record in your name server.  And, if you don't care about
including records for dynamic machines in the name server, you don't
need to do this, either.
