The latest Linux version is Flash 7. The latest Flash version (Windows) is 9. Flash 9 does does a lot more than Flash 7. Flash 7 does not work on Flash 9 sites. Think about this. pls try to visit this site: http://www60.rockyou.com/ this is also flash enabled site but it gives the flash version warning gracefully. If its solely flash related, this site should also kill firefox right away like the previous one.
