According to the Alsa soundcard matrix it uses the "hda-intel" driver. See. http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/index.php?vendor=vendor-Intel#matrix I don't use that card myself, so can't really comment as to whether there are any difficulties with it. Nigel.
