Dear all,

I have filed a bug[1] in livna to build mplayer pre8 for fc5. It turns
out ffmpeg (ffplay to be accurate) needs SDL 1.2.10 to compile. I'm
wondering is it possible to release an update for SDL.

Still no 1.2.10 for FC5? Any idea if/when it is planned?

Hmm. I'm using SDL 1.2.9-5.2.1 and MPlayer 1.0-0.43.pre8.lvn5 (ffmpeg
version 0.4.9-0.22.20060407.lvn5) and everything seems to work fine. Are
you sure that 1.2.10 is required? (Perhaps Livna has backported a
compile fix or something to that effect, as well? I'll have to check.)
