Hi, I have just noticed that sometimes (not everytime...) after a hibernate/resume cycle, my machine seems to be stuck in its lowest cpu speed state. It has worked fine for quite some time (although I have only had hibernate working since FC5). Has anyone else seen anything like this ? I include below extracts from /proc/. I have searched around in the logs but not really found anything, but then I'm not sure what to look for or where. I thought it might be a 2.6.17 kernel issue, since I recently updated to 2.6.17-1.2145_FC5, but I see the same thing with 2.6.16-1.2133_FC5 cheers Chris jonesc@localhost ~ > cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 9 model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1500MHz stepping : 5 cpu MHz : 600.000 cache size : 1024 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug : no coma_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr mce cx8 mtrr pge mca cmov pat clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 tm pbe est tm2 bogomips : 1200.12 jonesc@localhost ~ > cat /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/* processor id: 0 acpi id: 0 bus mastering control: yes power management: yes throttling control: yes limit interface: yes active limit: P0:T0 user limit: P0:T0 thermal limit: P0:T0 active state: C2 max_cstate: C8 bus master activity: 12347887 states: C1: type[C1] promotion[C2] demotion[--] latency[000] usage[00000010] *C2: type[C2] promotion[C3] demotion[C1] latency[001] usage[00703531] C3: type[C3] promotion[C4] demotion[C2] latency[085] usage[00000039] C4: type[C3] promotion[--] demotion[C3] latency[185] usage[00000757] state count: 8 active state: T0 states: *T0: 00% T1: 12% T2: 25% T3: 37% T4: 50% T5: 62% T6: 75% T7: 87%
