I have a query here  while booting linux we find on the screen someting like

Starting sendmail   .....................................[OK]

Instead I want

Starting sendmail   .....................................[Success]

so how do i do it and which file I need to edit

Thanks and Regards

Look at the file, "/etc/init.d/functions".
Find the "OK" string in the function 'echo_success()' and  change it to whatever you like. If you would like the word "Success" to appear only for "sendmail" then I suspect  you could include this function in the "sendmail" script located in "/etc/rc.d/init.d" after the include of the "functions" library.
