The following URL is very helpful in generating one for you. http://www.dkfz-heidelberg.de/spec/linux/modeline/ I was successfully able to run this monitor at 1024x768@60Hz resolution by supplying the following modeline at depth 24. Monitor : LG Studioworks 55v # V-freq: 59.60 Hz // h-freq: 47.47 KHz Modeline "1024x768" 60.00 1024 1056 1128 1264 768 768 770 796 This is for info, if maybe someone else is also looking for it.
