At another site, the author and maintainer of the device drivers for
webcams said he was quiting. He said that for some of the core
developers issuing a binary only was too major a sin and that all
support would have the plug pulled in the kernel. Yeah, I was noting
that there were no versions remotely recent and I would have to install
a Krusty Kernel. I can't yum gnomemeeting so maybe that is in jeopardy
too? That sucks... now I have two of the critters. <chortles> and no
video phone capacity. I hate when that happens. I think I'll pang on
Logitech and see what the response is. I almost pine for the days when
it was assumed that you would burn your own kernel and spend a week
getting it work. <grins> Ric

gnomemeeting is now called ekiga so : yum install ekiga

You _could_ download the kernel src.rpm and roll your own.

I actually haven't take a look at your output yet...been busy.,.. may
do that tonight.
