Actually, the program name is noted -- gconfd.  This is the GNOME
settings daemon, which is a service that GNOME applications use to
store and retrieve their settings.

It is informative.  It lets you know where the setting databases are
coming from.  I have no idea why the daemon logs these messages except
for debugging purposes.  I suppose this has come about because of
lessons learned in resolving bugs over time.
