Oversight. No-one picked up on this whilst it was in updates-testing.
Will get another update out as soon as a new -stable release appears
(which probably won't be very long)

Hi, having the same problem in my FC4 box (sun fire v40z: 4 x opteron dual core).
There is no smp kernel presented (my running smp kernel is 2.6.16-1.2115_FC4smp) when running "yum update", only kernel-2.6.17-1.2139_FC4.
