Welcome back.

- The Save-a-Session tick box is gone. I've seen it mentioned, but
found no solution. Is there? I'd rather not use a start-up script, as
it would cahnge frequently, and the wife is not techie enough for it.
(well, neither am I)

- How do I go about using Gnome-VFS in KDE? I really don't want to
switch to Gnome, but I need this feature.

Kinda curious as to what the Gnome-VFS does.

- My screen refresh rate is 70 Hz. Why isn't 85 Hz available on the
dropdown list? Until now, every distro has given me a choice of 85
Hz.

Could be a Fedora patch. Could be a kernel bug. I would try putting in
teh resolution manually via. /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and if it works out
fine, and the fact that it was missing bothers you enough, file a bug
report.

Thanks, everyone. Glad to be back /home.

You're welcome, sorry I couldn't answer the other questions.
