Check that "yumex" and "installation" are referring to exactly the same
version and release of the package. They might not be.

As for whether shared-mime-info-spec.xml should be under /usr/share
or /usr/share/doc/shared-mime-info-0.17, I don't know. If it's needed as
a non-doc file, /usr/share doesn't seem an appropriate place to me
(/usr/share/mime would seem better IMHO).

Just to understand why I am ivestigating /usr/share/mime.
As a photographic gear user, I used to process RAW files (with PEF
extension) from Pentax DSLR.
Using GIMP+UFRAW I could process them and thumbnails were created:
since about three months no thumbnails are created.Udi Fuchs (UFRAW
creator) wrote to me that thumbnails creation is connected to
mime-share-info.

But my skills stop here: I am an humble Fedora user, like a driver
with no mechanical knowledge.
