kernel - vga=normal?

Hey all

How do I disable my framebuffer?

I'm using netenv which gives me a text menu allowing me to select
various network and X config files on bootup but Fedora boots in
graphical mode so I can't see the netenv menu.

If I boot in single user mode then the kernel doesn't go into graphics
and I can see and use the netenv menu just fine.

Even if I use vga=normal in grub.conf it still goes into graphical boot.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers,

--Irvine
