Re: FC5 : mounting ntfs and fat32 partitions problem

i tried to change mounting the drives to /mnt/Windows and /mnt/Storage
and i get the same errors
but when i try to mount from the terminal it works with no problems
so it doesnt work from the fstab in the start up only

here is my fstab now :


/dev/hda1        /mnt/Windows    ntfs    ro,defaults,iocharset=utf8,umask=0222,dmask=0000,uid=0002,gid=users,users    0 0
/dev/hda5        /mnt/Storage    vfat    iocharset=utf8,codepage=862,umask=0222,dmask=0000,uid=0002,gid=users,users    0

Seems your trying to mount them in your home folder.

try mkdir  /media/windows
