You don't have the livna respository in your list of places to look for
packages.
wget http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/4/i386/livna-release-4-5.noarch.rpm
rpm -i livna-release-4-5.noarch.rpm
yum install mplayer-skins mplayer-fonts mplayerplug-in
That should be all you need to do.
You are exactly right. I did install the RPM and then yum was able
to find the mplayer rpm packages and install them and now I have mplayer
on my FC4 computer.
Now I need to learn how to use it.
