2.6.16 crashes (FC4 errata and FC5 kernels) with hardware RAID i2o

Well as anyone who's been taking an interest has found, I believe I've found a slight issue with the FC4 errata and FC5 kernels based on the 2.6.16 kernels.

They appear to become unstable under any kind of load in a system that uses the i2o Adaptec 2100S SCSI hardware RAID controller, other models that use the i2o driver may be affected, but the 2100S is the only one I have access to.

Other people seem to be having problems with the i2o driver in FC4 errata and FC5 kernels... see the fedora forum below...

My bugzilla report is currently: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=189570

Can anyone else with i2o hardware shed any light as to whether this affects them?
