I would....
1. Boot to the kernel you want to run.
2. As root, "rpm -e kernel-2.6.16-1.2107_FC5" and if you installed it
"rpm -e kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2107_FC5"
3. To be safe... Go to /boot/grub and check the grub.conf to ensure it
has been updated correctly. The "default=X" line should point to the
correct "title" grouping.
FWIW, don't go updating your kernel stuff at the drop of hat. Wait a
while and watch the list. When people start complaining....you'll have
a clue as to the direction you should take.
Remember "Fedora" isn't always "Stable".
