I'm running it at 1280x800 (vesa) in my notebook, which has the same video chipset as yours, and all I did was to follow the steps I've described in my last mail. In short, I selected a 1280x800 LCD monitor using system-config-display, added manually the resolution I wanted to xorg.conf and used 915resolution to replace an unused mode with 1280x800 in the RAM shadow of the BIOS. Maybe we can workaround this by downgrading Xorg to the version which was used in FC4 while this bug is not fixed in Xorg 7. []'s Marcelo
