Hi, I have installed fedora-2.6.9-1.681 on SMP 4 way processor(Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz). when i tried to bind IRQ processing to specific CPU or number of CPUs by setting up smp_affinity,affinity value getting changed but within secs the sysetm randomly chaging with some other values..(for all IRQ's on the system).
