Hi,
I am very curious why FC 5 shows the detected monitor
correctly, but the Xserver fails to start. After "emergency"
monitor setup to general LCD, it works until the next restart.
PC is DX2000 (video on board) and monitors were
HP 7500 and ADI P590
Default gives xM colours for HP 7500. Manual settings,
both the type (HP 7500 from the list) and number of colours
(xk) cured the problem in HP 7500 but not in ADI.
Where is the problem:
1. In setup process?
2. In video card?
3. Between the seat and keyboard? ;-)
