Hi Paul,

Tks for your advice.

If you do "setenforce 0" (as root) and then try again, does it work?

$ su - # setenforce 0
(remark: "su" did not work, bash - command not found)

That's the exact error you got for "su -"?

Does the command "getenforce" at this point say "Permissive"?

no printout
# acroread

Acroread started but with following warning;
There was an error while loading the plug-in 'PPKLite.api' The plug-in
failed to initialize.   [OK]

Clicked [OK] to start Acroread.

Try again as a regular user.

Please advise how to fix the plug-in error. TIA.

If it still fails in permissive mode I'd try removing acroread and reinstalling it.

Paul.
