Seeing that thread's quite old, people wanting to know the moment nVidia
release a driver supporting AIGLX should watch:
<http://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/1.0-8756/README/appendix-s.html>
"The NVIDIA driver does not yet support the
GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap extension."
