Accessing Internet over PPPoA with FC5

Hi,

except for RedHat sites. When using FC4 and SUSE 9.1, I could get online as
root only. WinXP goes online fine. Knoppix 3.2 goes online also. The PPPoA
software is in the Qwest DSL modem (Actiontec GT701-wg DSL Modem with
Wireless Gateway)
Not sure what to do next.
