Brain Freeze: PHP/Apache Logging FC4

Before I do something stupid, does anyone know how to get PHP errors
to print with date/time in the httpd error_log?

In other words, a 404 shows up properly, thus:

[Wed Apr 19 08:15:12 2006] [error] [client 68.142.251.83] File does
not exist: /var/www/tqmcube/pgp

But a php error prints as:

[client 82.170.141.176] PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_REFERER
in /var/www/tqmcube/scformproc.php on line 1
