If this is a new system, you should also check your memory setup in the BIOS. I've seen dozen of times that when memory timings aren't correct the weirdest "hangs" can occur. Since than I always start from very safe settings and use that for a week or so, just to prove system stability. After that I optimize for speed step by step. Regards, Marcel
