James, Thanks for your kind follow up, here the problem returned again for me even after work around. I did tried the rpm verification earlier and now did that again as : rpm -V gnome-mime-data gnome-vfs2 gnome-themes but is negative, I quickly tried to remove the cache files as earlier but that won't help either. So the problem is going to stay here for a while untill I get close to its root. Cheers,
