Hallo community! I have two optical drives, First: hdc ----->normally used as
dvd/cdrom "reader", so that must usually a symlink to dev/cdrom /dev/dvd
Second: hdd ------->normally used as cd/dvdwriter, symlink is calling in FC
cdwriter; But FC5 set everything to dev/hdd? Why? Try to enforce it with:
ln -sf hdc dvd for example, would be erased after a reboot, and all way points
to my second device hdd. Some applications are due to this not correct in
funktion. Is it the product of some obscure interaction from hal, pam, hotplug
and so on? Pls help me, in FC4 all works fine for me...... :-)
