Hi,

Thanks a lot. It fixed my problem completely.

It works great except one thing to clarify:

in /etc/mail/sendmail.mc the argument to SMARTHOST
should be '[smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com]', while in
/etc/mail/authinfo we can not use
smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com directly b/c it is just an
alias name, instead, we should use the DNS resolved
true name that it points to. in my case, it is:

  smtp.sbc.mail.yahoo4.akadns.net

 I tried either 'smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com' or
'smtp.sbc.mail.yahoo4.akadns.net' as arguemnt to
AuthInfo in /etc/mail/authinfo several times, the
first one failed while the second one worked.

Sendmail is working now but not so good, we have to
change /etc/mail/authinfo file from time to time after
yahoo.com changes the underlying real names for
smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com.

Thanks again for big help.People are very nice at this
maillist.
