I thought that the message was lost/not important enought to be answered. I must be honest and let you know that I need to install FC5 as this happens on FC5T2 with some updates not all are possible since this machine is on dialup. [tonio@localhost ~]$ ps -ef | grep xfs xfs 2094 1 0 20:14 ? 00:00:01 xfs -droppriv -daemon tonio 3177 3156 0 20:44 pts/2 00:00:00 grep xfs [tonio@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa xorg-x11-fonts* xorg-x11-fonts-base-1.0.0-2 [tonio@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa bitmap-fonts* bitmap-fonts-0.3-5.1 [tonio@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa urw-fonts* urw-fonts-2.3-6.1 [tonio@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa ghostscript-fonts* ghostscript-fonts-5.50-13.1 [tonio@localhost ~]$ rpm -qa bitstream-vera-fonts* bitstream-vera-fonts-1.10-5.1 [tonio@localhost ~]$ I did not test everything as I should have done, I forgot about display, convert, and other stuff with other programs. I updated the kernel and tried to get slmodemd, to work with the fedora test kernels for which none worked after the initial kernel that FC5T2 came with ( [tonio@localhost ~]$ uname -r 2.6.15-1.1826.2.10_FC5 ). I need to update this machine to FC5 or test it with another since I am happy with the way it runs despite not having it fully updated.
