Allow me to ask a question first: have you considered trying to get your custom modules included in kernel.org? If it's useful for you, it may be useful for others. See linux/Documentation/SubmittingDrivers and SubmittingPatches in the kernel source tree for pointers. For FC5, the new suggested method is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/KernelModuleProposal As this is quite new, many people still create modules packaged using DKMS. I maintain DKMS, and it's in Fedora Extras. http://linux.dell.com/dkms/dkms.html Thanks, Matt -- Matt Domsch Software Architect Dell Linux Solutions linux.dell.com & www.dell.com/linux Linux on Dell mailing lists @ http://lists.us.dell.com
