No suggestions.  I have the same problem on my Dell Inspiron 8200.
After coming back from hibernate, sound is fine.

Same thing would happen with my IBM A22M lapper.  It has CS 4614/22/24
CrystalClear SoundFusion.   I disabled suspend/hibernate options.
