I'm posting this (with some meaningful subject line keywords) hoping it reduces the search time for the next poor sap like me who comes along wondering what magic string to include in /etc/ddclient.conf such that ddclient can discover the modem's IP address. use=web, web=192.168.1.254/homeBS.htm, web-skip='IpAddress =' Trust me, it isn't obvious.
