on my FC-4 system, this has worked well...

# rpm -qa|grep xmms
xmms-mp3-1.2.10-14.2.fc4.rf
xmms-1.2.10-21.fc4
xmms-aac-2.0-5.2.fc4.rf


# rpm -q gtkpod
gtkpod-0.99.2-1.2.fc4.rf

.rf means the packages are from rpmforge - are they finished packaging
FC-5 stuff yet?
