This is NOT funny.

I think that one of the problems with internal LS120 drives is that they behave like a FDD but are installed like a HDD. It may not be relevant, but it might spark some idea in someone.

Of course that's what it is. The $640000 question is WHAT EXACTLY is doing that, and how do I shut that bloody thing up.
