Possibly with the "valid users = <your list of valid user names>" option in the specific share, and the "public" option. See: man smb.conf /valid /public Or the original /etc/samba/smb.conf file with the commented out examples near the end of the file. You should be able to set who can do things with that share, that way, but I've not tested whether it'll hide the share itself from other users. -- (Currently running FC4, occasionally trying FC5.)
