Gnome / Kde question - limitation of # of logins

I have a question concerning log in into a server by gdm: is ist possible to limit the number of Gnome- or KDE-sessions logged in? I have a server (FC4) to which people are logging in via chooser, and after 15 sessions are running, no more chooser prompt (willing ...) appears on the next free X-terminal.

Any help appreciated.

Regards
