Hi, My Broadcom gigabit NIC's PXEBOOT was confsued by ISC dhcrelay. it interpreted the DHCP OFFER as having two gid IPs: First is the IP of DHCRELAY server, then comes the real router IP defined in dhcpd.conf. The above bring big trouble to me b/c I have to install hundreds of Linux clients based on pxeboot. originally we didn't encounter this problems becasuse we had only one big flat network, but now we has tens of small networks to improve security while on routers the DHCP broadcast are blocked. Any other people encountered the same problem before? the Broadcom gigabit NICs' booting firware version is 6.2.0, and has a PCI ID 14e4:16a6 (rev 02). my dhcpd is a little bit old (3.0p12), while my dhc relay is 3.0.2. Please help. Thanks a lot. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
