AFAIK, libssl.so.5 was provided back in FC4 as part of openssl-0.9.7f or
at least that is what rpmfind.net would have us believe.

In any event, installing openssl097a-0.9.7a-4.2.1.i386.rpm that comes
with FC5 gets you libssl.so.4 in /lib.

So, you may want to grab the srpm from FC4 and rebuild it.
